The report said the company collected insurance premiums for 5.8 billion soums, including 3.3 billion soums on voluntary and 2.5 billion soums on mandatory insurance products.
Share of regional branches in total volume of collected insurance premiums made up 38.5% in 2008, while the figure grew to 60.5% in 2009.
Share of the company in the insurance market of Uzbekistan made up 4.1% in 2009 against 3.5% in 2008. Total sum of insurance payouts made up 410.6 million soums in 2009, which is twice much compared to 2008.
Aggregate income of the company comprised 4.4 billion soums in 2009, of which 4 billion fell to insurance activity and 454.2 million soums to investment activity.
Total income in the reporting exceeded the income volume of 2008 by 2.4 times, while business plan was executed with 21.3% surplus.
Assets of Alskom rose from 5.977 billion soums in 2008 to 9.3 billion soums in 2009, the report said. The liabilities rose from 87.76 million soums to 870.516 million soums. The charter capital made up 3.737 billion soums in 2009 against 2.237 billion soums in 2008.
Alskom has been working in Uzbekistan’s insurance market since 1996 and currently it is one of the leading insurance companies in Uzbekistan. It received license from Uzbekistan Finance Ministry on 2 February 2009 and provides 40 insurance products in voluntary and mandatory insurance segments.
