Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The net foreign exchange reserves of Uzbekistan as of 1 December 2018 totaled US$25.29 billion, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.
The volume of monetary gold reached US$14.96 billion as of 1 December 2018 against US$14.64 billion as of 1 November 2018.
At the same time, the volume of assets in foreign currency decreased from US$11.84 billion on 1 November 2018 to US$11.01 billion on 1 December 2018.
The regulator notes that the decrease in reserves in January-November is partly due to the decline in the price of gold from US$1,296.50 to US$1,220.45 per troy ounce. The estimated effect on the decline was US$823.2 million.
