Nearly One Thousand People Convicted for Sexual Harassment in Uzbekistan in Six Months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first half of 2025, a total of 986 individuals in Uzbekistan were held accountable for sexual harassment, according to the press service of the Supreme Court.
Aziz Abidov, a representative of the court, reported that 358 individuals were fined, while 628 received administrative detention in accordance with Article 41-1 of the Administrative Liability Code.
