Nationwide ecological hashar to take place on 26 January

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National ecological hashar will be held in Uzbekistan on 26 January 2019.

The nationwide ecological hashar is carried out in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan and in order to improve the environmental situation and the living conditions of people in the Aral Sea region.

Within the framework of hashar, it is planned to equip makhallas, the territory around residential houses and organizations, recreation areas, streets and other places.

The funds collected during the khashar will be used to create protective forests on the dried bottom of the Aral Sea, as well as to improve the environmental situation and people’s lives.
