Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As you know, the second qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup starts in September.

The national team of Uzbekistan in group “D” will play their first match of the qualifying stage against Palestine.

A team led by head coach Hector Cooper on 28 August began a training camp in the capital.

The first training process was attended mainly by the players of our national championship. Of the legionnaires, only Sanjar Shoahmedov trained. The rest of our players playing abroad will play matches in their clubs and then join the national team.

It is worth noting that the training camp of the national team of Uzbekistan will last in Tashkent until 3 September.

On 10 September will be a series of matches of the second round of the qualifying stage of the World Cup-2022. According to the calendar, in this round the team led by Hector Cooper will rest. In this regard, on 9 September, our team will hold a friendly match against Iraq during the days of FIFA. The game will be held in the capital of Jordan in the city of Amman.
