National e-sports team of Uzbekistan won the Asian Championship

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 July, the eSports team of Uzbekistan took first place at the Asian Championship in Saudi Arabia.

The national team of Uzbekistan was represented by the TT.Team (Traffic Tashkent Team), which included:

Amirbek "wetfy" Timurov,

Timothy "aokiflame"

kim,

Daniel "icyvl0ne" Lee,

Ibrahim "kanshineF" Abdukadyrov,

On 7 May, the national team of Uzbekistan in the qualifying tournament won the Central Asian qualifying round, leaving behind the teams from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, having received a ticket to the Asian Championship held by IESF.

IESF (International Esports Federation) is a global sports organization based in South Korea. Her mission is to make esports an official sport. The federation unites the national esports organizations of most countries. Created in 2008.

At the Asian Championship held by IESF as part of the international tournament "15th WE Championship IASI 2023" in Saudi Arabia, the CS:GO team of Uzbekistan took first place. The best teams from the region representing 10 countries took part in the competition.

At the final meetings, the Uzbeks were able to defeat the teams of Palestine, Indonesia and Mongolia, thereby demonstrating skills and collective synchrony.

The prize fund amounted to US$12,500 and is distributed among the winners. Of these, US$7,000 \ will be received by participants from the National Team of Uzbekistan for the first place.

Thus, the Uzbekistan national team received the right to participate in the IESF World Esports Championship 2023, which will be held in Iasi, Romania at the end of August 2023, where the best 24 teams in the world will compete for the title of World Champion.
