National Days of Central Asia and Azerbaijan Held in Avaza
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the sidelines of the UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, events dedicated to the National Days of Central Asian states and Azerbaijan were held in Avaza.
The aim was to showcase the region’s rich cultural heritage, highlight traditions of good neighborliness, and strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties.
National pavilions introduced guests to traditional crafts as well as contemporary achievements in culture, art, and tourism. Gastronomic presentations and culinary master classes drew particular interest.
Uzbekistan’s pavilion stood out, designed in the style of a traditional Uzbek courtyard — hovli — adorned with national elements.
The events vividly demonstrated the cultural diversity of the region, underlined its shared identity, and contributed to mutual understanding, promoting Central Asia as a space of peace, stability, and prosperity.
