Uzbekistan’s Nasaf, Al Rayyan, of Qatar, and Indonesian outfit Persiwa Wamena have been accepted by AFC to compete in the continent’s second-tier club competition.

All three countries are represented in the AFC Champions League but also expressed a wish to participate in the AFC Cup 2010.

Persiwa will have direct entry to the competition next year to fill one void in the East Asian side.

However, Al Rayyan and Nasaf will fight it out in a one-match play-off to determine which teams go into the West Asian side of the draw.

The draw for the play-off will be held on December 7 to determine who will play at home.

Al Rayyan and Nasaf finished third in their national league to miss out on an ACL place. Persiwa were second in the Indonesian national league.

The following are play-off and group stage match dates for the AFC Cup 2010 competition.
