In the final match, which was held in Karshi, Anatoliy Demyanenko side controlled the match flow and created more chances compared to the opponents, who played on counter attacks.

In the first half, the Uzbek side created several decent chances to score, but they either missed chances or Kuwaiti goalkeeper made several fine saves.

In the second half, Nasaf Karshi continued to attack and in the 62nd minute Ilhom Shomurodov opened the score after pass of Gevorkyan.

Two minutes later Artur Gevorkyan gave another pass to Andrey Perepletkin, who netted the second goal with back-heel.

In 67th minute of the match, Kuwait SC netted a goal through Kabi. He received the ball, turned and hit to left of the post – 2-1.

After the goal, Kuwaiti side started to control the match, but failed to penetrate. In their turn, Nasaf created several chances to score, but again they failed to convert their chances.

The match ended with the score 2-1. Nasaf won AFC Cup.
