NAPU to acquire a stake in Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPU) will acquire a share in Directorate of Innovation Center for Support of Development and Implementation of Information Technologies Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to develop the digital economy in the Republic of Uzbekistan” on 3 July 2018.

The Head of Uzbekistan approved the proposal of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Inha University in Tashkent to transfer a share in the statutory fund of Directorate of the Innovation Center for the Support of Development and Implementation of Information Technologies Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center to the NAPU.

Innovation Center for Support of Development and Introduction of Information Technologies Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center was established on 30 June 2017. The Center is designed to deepen the integration of science, education and production in the ICT industry, as well as create favorable conditions for the development of high-tech industries.
