Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The insurance company EUROASIA INSURANCE has been fined 45 million soums, according to the National Agency for Perspective Projects of Uzbekistan (NAPP).

The fine was imposed following an analysis of the company’s financial statements, during which violations of established legal norms were identified.

According to the NAPP’s decision, the license issued to the company on 30 June 2022, under number 031333, will be suspended for 10 days starting from 17 October 2024.

During this period, the company is prohibited from entering into new insurance contracts or extending existing ones.

However, EUROASIA INSURANCE is required to fulfill all obligations under insurance contracts concluded before the suspension of the license in accordance with established procedures.
