Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29-30 September, a gastronomic festival "99 types of Aral fish dishes" will be organized in Muynak district of Karakalpakstan.

The festival is held in order to widely promote the potential of gastronomic tourism throughout the country, including in the Muynak region of Karakalpakstan, increase the number of cultural and entertainment events in the region and further increase the number of local and foreign tourists visiting this area.

The festival program included master classes by local chefs in cooking dishes from various types of fish, competitions between chefs, exhibitions of local masters, concerts of national pop and folklore performers, as well as a national dance ensemble.
