Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan has imposed a fine on LLC MUSTANG LIDER FREE for engaging in unfair competition.

The complaint was filed by JSC "Bashkir Soda Company" (Russia), accusing LLC MUSTANG LIDER FREE of misleading consumers and violating competition laws.

During the investigation, it was found that MUSTANG LIDER FREE used packaging for baking soda that was visually similar to the design of "Baking Soda" produced by JSC "Bashkir Soda Company." This similarity could have caused consumers to misunderstand the origin and quality of the product.

Based on violations of Article 21 of the Law "On Competition," the Committee’s special commission initiated proceedings against the company.

As a result, MUSTANG LIDER FREE was fined and instructed to eliminate the violations and take measures to prevent such cases in the future.
