The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that Ambassador handed over copies of credentials.

At the meeting, the sides considered current state and perspectives of the Uzbek-Afghan relations.

It was noted important role of Uzbekistan in social-economic rehabilitation of Uzbekistan, including in construction and exploitation of rail road line Hairaton-Mazar-e-Sharif and supply of electricity.

The sides also exchanged opinion on other issues of mutual interest.
