The company launched the service in test regime in March 2009 and after technical trial, the Mobile Television service was launched for commercial use. Currently, MTS Uzbekistan subscribers can watch two channels of Uzbekistan - O’zbekiston and TV Markaz.

Nuriddin Shadmanov, deputy director of MTS Uzbekistan on commerce, said the company pays attention to development of traditional voice and innovative services. The Mobile Service users can feel advantages of 3G technologies, he said.

The subscribers should have handsets with 3G support and Video Streaming service. The price of the Mobile Television service is US$0.1 per minute.
