MPs, representatives of Ministry of Finance, off-budget Pension Fund, Tax Committee, Khalq Bank, officials of administrations of Andijan and Namangan regions attended the event, the press service of the Legislative Chamber said.

At the session, it was underlined that the law “On accumulative pension provision of the citizens” will serve as legal base for regulating relations in sphere of pension provision. Number of people, who participate in accumulative pension provision, makes up 8.704 million people as of 1 January 2015.

The participants noted that there were some problems in execution of law “On accumulative pension provision of the citizens” in Andijan and Namangan regions. The article 13 of the law says that financial and tax services, as well as Khalq Bank control activities of the employees on opening mandatory accumulative pension accounts, their compliance with running accounts, making payments to the accounts, etc. But the study revealed that their cooperation is not in good level, while the citizens are not informed about the sum of accumulated sum at their pension accounts.

At the meeting, the participants outlined plans to ensure timely submission of pension fees to accumulative accounts and improve single database of accumulative pension system, etc.
