It was noted that the stable economic growth was ensured in the reporting period. The economy of Uzbekistan rose by 8.1% year-on-year, industrial output – 9.4%, agriculture production – 6.8% and construction works – 19.2%.

Light and food industries, machinery and metal processing, production of construction materials grew dynamically in January-September 2013, in the result their share in industrial production rose from 47.4% to 51.4%.

Support of exporters and entry to new export markets helped to increase foreign trade surplus significantly. The state budget was executed with surplus.
