Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4-7 August, the international tourism forum "Travel!" is being held in Moscow at the industrial site of VDNKh. The forum is widely covered by Uzbek and local media. The event was organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Airways National Airlines and the State Unitary Enterprise National PR Center.

The forum is attended by Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism of Russia (Rostourism) Elena Lysenkova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov, Director of the State Unitary Enterprise "National PR Center" under the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilfuza Samandarova.

At the forum, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism of Russia (Rostourism) Elena Lysenkova expressed her opinion about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan:

“When I saw this pavilion, I felt as if I was traveling around Uzbekistan. We are glad that you gave the forum a special atmosphere with your unique traditions and landscapes,” said Elena Lysenkova. - Uzbekistan is one of the countries with high potential in the field of tourism. We have developed cooperation plans for each direction of tourism. We believe that cooperation between our countries will be long and fruitful. Today’s forum is also proof of that”.

The main organizer of the forum, Deputy Director of Roscongress Vladimir Zatynaiko, thanked Uzbekistan for its participation and cooperation in the framework of the international event.

As part of the event, Uzbek plov was distributed. At the same time, products of national crafts were demonstrated. This aroused great interest among the locals.

At the forum, the delegation of Uzbekistan presents two stands at once: a business stand and a stand dedicated to the tourism potential and culture of our country.

The business stand located in pavilion No. 55 provides information about the all-season mountain resort Amirsoy Resort, the new Silk Road tourist complex in Samarkand, the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, as well as national travel companies.

On the territory adjacent to the 55th pavilion, there is a stand dedicated to the tourism potential and culture of Uzbekistan. Here, the Uzbek delegation provided information about the work of artisans, the national cuisine of Uzbekistan, various types of tourism, as well as master classes and the manufacture of traditional handicrafts, wine tasting.

The event presents all the diversity of the modern tourism industry - historical, ethnographic, extreme, sports, gastronomic, pilgrimage tours and other types of travel, which today in Uzbekistan are not only accessible and convenient, but also very popular. Information is also provided on the number of flights of Uzbekistan Airways National Airlines from Russian cities.

It’s no secret that tourism in Uzbekistan is currently developing rapidly: this year a record number of Russians visited the country.
