Mobile operators of Uzbekistan to increase tariffs from January
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- All three largest mobile communication operators – MTS Uzbekistan, UCell and Beeline – will increase their tariffs for mobile services from January 2012.

MTS Uzbekistan said that it will increase cost of the outgoing calls to subscribers of other mobile operators and other calls within Uzbekistan in “Dial’Ok”, “Dlinniy razgovori”, “Privet”, “Universal” and “Exclusive” tariff plans.

The cost of one minute of outgoing call to subscribers of other mobile operators and other calls within Uzbekistan will increase from US$0.025 to US$0.03 (including all taxes). All other terms were not changed.

From 2 January 2012, UCell introduce daily subscription fee at the size of US$0.01 (including VAT) to its tariff plans in Prepaid system – Mir Ucell, Bolshe Obsheniya, Nochnoy, Online, Stan Blije, Govori Bolshe, Poltora, 3G Modem and Postpaid system – EASY, FACT and 3G Modem.

Beeline said that from 2 January 2012, the outgoing calls to other mobile operators’ subscribers and other calls within Uzbekistan will cost US$0.03 per minute in tariff plans “O!”, “Zor-zor”, “Sosedi Plyus”, “Click”, “Click Modem”, and “VIP Beeline” and 60 soums per minute in tariff plans “Allo”, Allo! 1 sum” and “Dostupniy”.

The operator introduced US$0.01 subscription fee a day (in dollar tariff plans) and 20 soums (in soum tariff plans) in all tariff plans of prepaid system, besides Vse Svoi, Svoi Lyudi, VIP Lux, VIP Elite and Gold Pro.

All other terms were not changed. Beeline recalled that outgoing calls to fixed numbers within Uzbekistan are free from third minute of call in all tariff plans of prepaid system.
