Mobile operators install 530 basic stations in 1Q
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Mobile communication operators of Uzbekistan have commissioned over 530 new basic stations in the first quarter of 2013, the State Communication Inspection of Uzbekistan said.
The inspection said that active work is underway in Uzbekistan directed at improving quality of communication and increasing number of additional services, provided by operators Unitel (Beeline trademark), Coscom (Ucell), RWC (PerfectumMobile) and Uzmobile branch of Uzbektelecom.
In the reporting period, the State Inspection for supervision in communication, informatization and telecommunication technologies received applications from operators with request to allocate specialist to participate in process of accepting 531 basic stations in the first three months of 2013.
The inspection said that it sent its specialists, who participated as members of acceptance commission.
The inspection said that launch of new stations will improve quality of mobile communication services and increase data transfer speed.
