Semifinalist of AFC Champions League 2012, Bunyodkor, is in Group G with Sanfrecce Hiroshima (Japan), Beijing Guoan (China) and Pohang Steelers (South Korea).

Mirjalol Kasimov said that Group G has strong teams. He said that J-League and K-League are strong championships. He said that Uzbek club did not meet with Chinese clubs, but the league is developing fast due to arrival of Marcello Lippi and Didier Drogba.

At the same time, he added that Bunyodkor earned authority as one of strongest clubs and playing in Eastern zone, the club was able to meet expectation of its fans. Kasimov expressed hope that next season, the club’s campaign will be successful.
