Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Rumors spread on social networks about the alleged payment of 200,000 soums to children in Uzbekistan by the President of Uzbekistan by 1 June - International Children’s Day. 

Abdulaziz Khaydarov, director of the Off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, denied these reports.

“Reports circulating on the Internet about the issuance of funds to children in honor of the holiday are false. At the same time, citizens go to the cash desks of the People’s Bank and demand the issuance of these funds. I want to emphasize once again that this information is not true,” said Abdulaziz Haydarov.

At the same time, citizens were warned about the responsibility for disseminating false information among the public.
