Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first seven months of 2024, Uzbekistan produced 47.8 billion kWh of electricity, according to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.

According to the ministry, this figure represents an increase of 2.1 billion kWh or 4.7% compared to the same period last year.

During this period, 39.8 billion kWh of electricity was supplied to consumers, marking an increase of 629.6 million kWh or 1.6% compared to the corresponding period in 2023.

However, the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan previously reported that, for the same period in 2024, the country produced 42.8 billion kWh of electricity, which is a decrease of 5.5% compared to the same period in 2023.
