Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan has decided to take measures against inappropriate behavior by performers on stage.

The ministry has proposed introducing a mandatory requirement for concert organizers to submit scripts of upcoming events in advance, allowing them to be reviewed for compliance with national values and traditions.

This proposal is part of a draft government resolution currently open for public discussion.

Under this plan, concert organizers would be required to send their applications for review to "Uzbekconcert." If the project is approved, organizers may also be required to pay fees for having their applications processed.

The primary goal of these measures is to prevent inappropriate behavior by artists during performances.

Scripts will be evaluated based on criteria such as the ideological and artistic level of the program or event script, alignment of the planned repertoire with national traditions and universal values, and the reflection of sentiments like love and loyalty within the program.
