Minister of Culture of Latvia visits Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Latvia led by Minister of Culture Ms Dace Melbārde is paying a visit to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
On 9 June, Minister of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Akhmedov received the delegation of Latvia.
At the negotiations, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of cooperation between two states in culture sphere.
On 8 June, Dace Melbārde participated in the opening of the personal exhibition of painter Iveta Vecenane. On Wednesday, she will travel to Nukus to open exhibition of Valdis Bush.
