MiningWorld Uzbekistan 2007 was officially supported by: the State Joint-Stock Company, ’Uzkimyosanoat’, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Geology and Mineral Resources, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Mayor Office of Tashkent City.

The next edition of MiningWorld Uzbekistan will form part of the Central Asian Industrial Week, which comprises four exhibitions: Machinery Central Asia, ChemPlast Asia, PromUpak Uzbekistan and MiningWorld Central Asia. The events will take place on 2-4 October 2008 in Uzexpocentre, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Senior Event Director, Mr. Kamran Mehdiyev, commented, "The exhibitors and visitors at MiningWorld Uzbekistan 2007 were very happy. The exhibitors reported many new contacts and visitors were able to find out about the mining market in Uzbekistan. We are very excited about 2008, which sees MiningWorld Uzbekistan join three related events which will enable the show to develop further".
