Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The global Microsoft outage did not affect the operations of Uzbekistan’s international airports. This was stated by Uzbekistan Airports.

According to the company, all aerodromes are currently operating normally, with flights and arrivals proceeding as scheduled.

"In the event of software issues affecting passenger check-in for airlines, Uzbekistan Airports is ready to offer its own check-in system as an alternative," the press service stated.

The outage of devices running Windows disrupted operations for thousands of companies worldwide, including airports, banks, stock exchanges, and supermarkets. The exact cause of the widespread disruption has not yet been determined, but it may be related to a software update from Crowdstrike.
