Microcreditbank to raise charter capital up to 200.2bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Microcreditbank open joint stock commercial bank will increase its charter capital up to 200.2 billion soums in 2013.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On additional measures on raising capitalization of Microcreditbank open joint stock commercial bank” on 29 March 2013.

According to the resolution, Microcreditbank will increase its charter capital by 40 billion soums in 2013 and it will reach 200.2 billion soums.

The document said that main tasks of Microcreditbank is to help to boost development of private and small businesses, especially in rural areas, due to expanding allocation of soft loans to form primary capital, render financial and organization support to women and youth, including graduates of colleges, to attract them into business.

Microcreditbank will also provide access to preferential loans to businesses to expand production of consumer goods and ready products, create jobs and raise well-being of population.

The bank should also focus on rendering micro finance services to farmers to purchase cattle, poultry, modern technologies, etc.
