MicroCreditBank issued over 115,600 plastic cards as of 1 October 2007 or in creased by 15.5% year-on-year, the press service of the bank said.

The total transactions volume with the plastic cards exceeded 30.3 billion soums, of which 20.1 billion soums fell to share transactions with plastic cards and the rest with trade terminals.

The bank issued 33,300 plastic cards within the framework of the so-called salary project, the press service said.

In order to make electronic payments convenient, the bank installed 700 terminals. During the reporting period, the balance of funds on the bank’s plastic cards totaled 1.11 billion soums.
