Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Metal construction work has been completed at the ongoing Olympic Village project in Tashkent, with the focus now shifting to the exterior outfitting of the facilities.
In 2025, Tashkent will host the Asian Youth Games, and the construction of the Olympic Village, intended for these games, is currently in full swing.
Uzbekistan’s Minister of Sports, Adkham Ikramov, the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), Oybek Kasimov, and Deputy Chairman Azizjon Kamilov visited the site to inspect the progress of the construction.
During the visit, officials were provided with detailed information on the completed work. It was highlighted that all metal construction work has been finished, and efforts are now focused on outfitting the exterior of the facilities.
The builders emphasized their commitment to every detail, using only high-quality and durable materials for the construction of the complex.
During the visit, the officials also discussed the future use of the facility after the completion of the Games.
The visit concluded with recommendations on how to improve the efficiency of the ongoing work at the site.
