Bukhara is one of the most ancient cities in Central Asia, located in the delta of the Zeravshan River, in the center of the Bukhara Oasis. It is a museum town boasting more than 140 architectural monuments of the medieval period, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The new Mercure Bukhara Old Town is located in the heart of Bukhara’s Old Town, on Samarkand Street, surrounded by numerous iconic sights and architectural gems of the city. The premium location of the hotel highlights Mercure’s brand promise to introduce guests to the local culture and immerse them in the destination.

The impressive architecture of the hotel blends perfectly into the landscape of the Old Town, while the authentic interior design immerses in a vivid destination atmosphere from the moment guests enter the lobby.

The interior of the hotel with its perimeter structure, a courtyard and a tall iwan, resembles the architecture of unique buildings of the 16th-19th centuries. The lobby is designed as a traditional covered shopping area in Bukhara. Traditional materials were used in the decoration, such as Bukhara bricks, adobe plaster, limestone and handmade ceramics.

Gorgeous mosaics, colorful symbols and abstract geometric patterns, all traditional for Uzbekistan, complement the design and immerse guests in the destination.
