Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation led by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov engaged in discussions with Bumjin Kim, the first vice president of Megazone Cloud, to deliberate on prospects for collaboration.
Mr. Kim acknowledged that his visit to ICT Week-2023 left a profound impression, particularly regarding the conducive environment fostered for IT enterprises in Uzbekistan, alongside appealing support initiatives. In the near future, he plans to embark on a visit to our nation to assess the opportunities within Uzbekistanʼs IT sector and to establish an outsourcing software development office for Megazone Cloud.
Furthermore, taking into account the current challenges confronting the Republic of Korea in terms of its youthful talent market, representatives of Megazone Cloud have expressed keen interest in Uzbekistanʼs reservoir of skilled professionals. Specifically, deliberations are underway regarding the establishment of an IT Talent Center within our borders, aimed at training specialists for subsequent integration into their workforce. A particular emphasis was placed on the proficiency levels in the Korean language among Uzbek youth, with recent data indicating that over 14,000 individuals are fluent in Korean.
