Meeting with the U.S. ambassador

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On May 24, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Daniel Rosenblum.

Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister warmly welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in his responsible mission, reports Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Prospects for deepening Uzbekistan – American relations in the context of implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States in May 2018 and high- and highest-level talks were discussed at the meeting.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further development of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other fields.

International and regional issues were also considered at the meeting.
