Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A meeting was held at the Agency for Strategic Reforms with the Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Economic Development, Effective Governance, and International Cooperation, Suma Chakrabarti.

During the meeting, the progress of the joint "roadmap" for 2024 was reviewed. Measures to improve the country’s positions in international rankings and indices, ensure the effectiveness of the "Country Platform," and prepare for the upcoming "Country Platform" meeting in September 2024 were discussed.

The discussion also touched on the removal of barriers hindering Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization.

Additionally, joint initiatives were considered to enrich the forthcoming open dialogue between the President and entrepreneurs with new ideas and further enhance the effectiveness of this platform.

Suma Chakrabarti’s project office expressed its readiness to prepare proposals for creating favorable conditions for doing business and improving the investment climate in the country.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the necessity of effective coordination efforts for the successful implementation of the joint "roadmap" was emphasized.
