Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the World Bank delegation to discuss the issues of large-scale development of renewable energy sources, particularly solar energy as an alternative source of energy.
At the meeting, the parties considered the experience and possible support of the World Bank in the development of financial products for increasing solar energy in industrial facilities and residential complexes in Uzbekistan. As noted, in 2023, it is planned to install renewable energy sources (solar panels) in houses, social facilities and large enterprises in the country.
The parties also discussed efficient projects for the implementation of "green energy" in other countries with the support of the World Bank, which gained significant results in saving electricity.
