Meeting Held with Global Institutional Investors
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 July 2025, the Ministry of Economy and Finance hosted a meeting with global institutional investors. The event was attended by Jasur Karshibaev, Advisor to the Minister, along with leading analysts from J.P. Morgan.
The discussions focused on key issues of Uzbekistan’s macroeconomic development, reforms in the financial and banking sectors, and priority directions in the country’s investment policy.
Particular attention was given to the progress of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Development Strategy, measures aimed at ensuring macroeconomic stability, further development of financial markets, and the expansion of bilateral cooperation with international financial institutions and investment banks.
It was also emphasized that the recent credit rating upgrade by Fitch, along with the revision of outlooks to “positive” by S&P and Moody’s, reflect the government’s commitment to ongoing reforms and the steady strengthening of the economic system.
At the conclusion of the meeting, foreign investors positively assessed Uzbekistan’s achievements in implementing structural reforms.
