Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 September 2024, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahromjon A’loyev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to Uzbekistan (based in Baku), Mohammad Adil Embarsh.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the current state and prospects of Uzbek-Moroccan relations in a bilateral format, as well as within the framework of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and other international organizations.

It was noted that the convergence and similarity of positions on key issues of interaction, including on the international stage, serve as a reliable foundation for strengthening and developing ties in political, trade-economic, investment, tourism, cultural-humanitarian, and other areas.

The parties also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of upcoming joint events at various levels.
