Maxim Fadeev plans to hold an analogue of Eurovision in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Producer Maxim Fadeev shared his plans for the launch of a new international festival called “Euroasia”, which is conceived as an analogue of the famous “Eurovision”.

Fadeev intends to make Uzbekistan the main venue for this competition, with Turkiye and Russia acting as host countries.

Fadeev describes Eurasia as an international musical “Olympiad” and plans to hold it annually in August.

He notes that headquarters in three countries have already begun work on organizing the acceptance of applications from participating countries.

In his Telegram channel, Maxim Fadeev also said that visually the festival is conceived as a grandiose event, similar to Eurovision.

These plans by Fadeev were inspired by a statement from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The head of the department, Olga Lyubimova, proposed creating an independent Eurasian film festival and music competition called “InterVision”, which is planned to be an analogue of “Eurovision”.
