Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of a study conducted on the basis of a joint memorandum, another meeting was held between the Mastercard international payment system and the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

According to the press service of the Central Bank, Denis Filippov, head of the Mastercard office in the Republic of Uzbekistan, attended the dialogue.

The parties discussed the prospects for the development of the company in Uzbekistan and the preliminary results of a joint research project.

At the first stage of the study, a Road Map project was developed to increase the share of non-cash payments in the country and eliminate factors that hinder this.

The parties also agreed on organizational issues related to the implementation of the document.
