Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Recently, the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan, Fariddin Nasriev visited the Republic of Mari El.
During the meeting with the head of the region Alexander Evstifeev, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed.
Particular attention is paid to the development of industrial cooperation, the implementation of joint investment projects, the development of interregional relations and an increase in the mutual tourist flow.
“We have established strong, proven business and time economic ties,” A. Evstifeev said. - We expect increased cooperation between the business circles of the two countries and further growth in trade.
As part of his visit to the region, the General Consul also took part in the IV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “International Humanitarian Cooperation: New Challenges and Opportunities” in Yoshkar-Ola, where he spoke on Uzbek-Russian relations. A public lecture was devoted to the same topic, which F. Nasriev read for students of Mari State University.
In the course of an organized dialogue with compatriots who are currently in the territory of Mari El, and students of local universities from among the Uzbeks, information is provided on the large-scale reforms being carried out in our country, the results achieved and future plans.
The participants also discussed issues related to the prevention of illegal migration, human trafficking, religious extremism and the prevention of the involvement of youth in the ranks of religious extremist organizations.
Detailed consultations were given on issues of consular registration, issuing travel documents for family members, obtaining permission for temporary departure or permanent residence.
At the same time, the necessity of strict observance of the laws of the host country, respect for their documents was stressed.
