Maqsudov temporarily to head Uzbekistan U-18

Uzbekistan U-18 will hold two friendly matches against Azerbaijan on 21 June and 24 June. Senior coach of Uzbekistan national team Shukhrat Maqsudov will head the team in these matches, which will be held in Tashkent.
Head coach of Uzbekistan U-18 Ahmadjon Musaev and his assistant Murad Ismailov left to Mexico with Uzbekistan U-17, which participated at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Mexico 2011. So, Shukhrat Maqsudov will temporarily head Uzbekistan U-17.
Ahmadjon Musaev said that this is right decision. Uzbekistan U-18 has own preparation plan to qualifiers of the Asian Champion and it should not interrupt, he added.
Uzbekistan U-18 will face Iran, Turkmenistan, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan in Asian Championship qualifiers. The match will be played in Tehran from 29 October to 12 November.
