Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Manchester United have been crowned winners of the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League, defeating Ajax in the final match.

Paul Pogba’s deflected strike opened the score on 17 minutes of the game, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan doubled lead of Manchester United after restart of the game.

Manchester United won its first UEFA Europa League and completed the set of major trophies.

In the result, Manchester United booked its berth in next season’s Champions League.
