Man arrested for murder in Jizzak

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 April 2019, at about 13:30, a man, residing in a gathering of citizens of Eski Tashkent of Sharaf-Rashidov district of Jizzakh region inflicted knife injuries to citizen Sh. A. at his work on the basis of jealousy.

The killer fled the scene after the incident.

As a result of the injuries Sh.A. died in hospital, the press service of the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan said.

On the same day, the prosecutor’s office of the city of Jizzak opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code and he was detained.
