During the visit, the Malaysian delegation held several negotiations with representatives of the government and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. The sides exchanged opinion on current state and perspectives of the Uzbek-Malaysian cooperation in trade-economic, investments and other spheres, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Ahmad Fuad Ismail said in interview to Jahon news agency that the delegation is satisfied with results of negotiations and expressed gratitude for high level of organization of the visit, which allowed the members of the delegation to familiarize with cultural and architecture of ancient Uzbek cities.

Ismail underlined that the countries has close relations and the sides are cooperating in many spheres.

Kuala Lumpur mayor said that he knew Uzbekistan only with books, but now he was able to familiarize with sights of Uzbekistan. He said that rich, unique and diverse historic and cultural heritage is one of attractive qualities of Uzbekistan.
