Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev met with the President of the Malaysian Small and Medium-Sized Business International Trade Association (SMITA), Megan Su, Dunyo agency reported.
During the meeting, Megan Su noted the interest of association member companies in cooperation with Uzbekistan. She also emphasized that in the regions of Uzbekistan it is possible to implement small projects in various fields, including the food industry and the production of electrical equipment.
The President of SMITA also expressed the interest of association member companies in organizing the import of a variety of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Malaysia and developing software for selling their goods to Uzbek partners through online platforms.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of SMITA management to Uzbekistan and cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to promote the expansion of mutual trade and attract investment.
