Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 December, the main New Year tree was opened in Tashkent, located in front of the Alisher Navoi National Library of Uzbekistan.

The height of the tree is 33 meters, and with the star on top, it reaches 35 meters. The tree is decorated with 33,000 ornaments and 3,500 LED garlands, totaling 14,000 meters in length.

In addition to the main tree, four smaller trees, over 300 decorative elements, and a large stage for festive events have been set up in the square.

The tree will be open for public visits until January 10.
