According to the Russian company, Lukoil produced 992 million cubic meters of gas at Gissar field, where gas production has been launched in December 2011.
The company increase gas production at Khauzak field by 635 million cubic meters or 24.2%. In 2011, the company produced 2.63 billion cubic meters of gas within the Khauzak-Shady-Kandym-Kungrad project.
As reported earlier, Lukoil forecasted that it will produce 4.1 billion cubic meters of gas in 2012, 4.4 billion cubic meters in 2013. The company planned to increase gas production up to 5.2 billion cubic meters in 2014 and 8.2 billion cubic meters in 2015.
Overall, Lukoil’s gas output made up 19.934 billion cubic meters in 2012, which grew by 10.5% year-on-year. About 8.041 billion cubic meters (8.273 billion cubic meters in 2012) were received from Nakhodkinskoye field.
According to the company, Lukoil invested US$477 million to exploration and production of gas in Uzbekistan in 2012 against US$480 million in 2011 and US$286 million in 2010.
