Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan organizes the I International Conference on the preparation of exhibits for the exhibition “Civilization and Culture on the Silk Road”, which will open in 2021 at the Louvre Museum.

Yannick Lintz, Director of the Department of Islamic Art at the Louvre Museum and Rocco Rante, Director of the French-Uzbek Archaeological Mission in Bukhara will speak at the presentation on January 31 at the Hyatt Regency Tashkent conference hall. The event will discuss issues of insurance, packaging and transportation of museum exhibits.

In addition, experts from the Center for Research and Restoration of French Museums, Michel Menu and Vincent Detal, who have many years of experience in the restoration of museum exhibits, will arrive in Tashkent for the first time.
