Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the second half of June, the Chinese airline Loong Air plans to launch a new air route from Xi’an to Samarkand.

During a meeting between the management of Uzbekistan Airports and representatives of Loong Air, the intention was voiced to increase the number of air transportation between China and Uzbekistan. During the negotiations, issues of expanding cargo transportation between the two countries were also discussed.

Today, Loong Air successfully operates regular passenger flights on the Chengdu - Tashkent and Xi’an - Tashkent routes three times a week.

Loong Air is a Chinese airline headquartered in Hangzhou that operates passenger and cargo air services.
