London-2012: Dilshod Choriev misses chance to win medal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Judoka from Uzbekistan Dilshod Choriev missed a chance to win a medal at Olympic Games in London in weight category of 90 kg.

In the first round, Choriev defeated Markus Nyman of Sweden. In next stage, he beat Tamas Madarasz of Hungary.

Dilshod Choriev lost to Thiago Camilo from Brazil in quarterfinals and had to participate in repechage bout.

Uzbek judoka lost to Japan’s Masashi Nishiyama in repeachge bout to miss out ticket to bronze medal match.
